The squad was a mixture of experience and very young, Ciana Brogan, Zoe Green, Chantel Kelly, Aine Deasley, Aoife Page and Caoimhe Walsh all move up to U16 next season, and Lagan will once again have to rebuild with their young girls of Geogia Keys, Yasmin Kelly, Leah and Lauren Gallagher, Bronagh Gallagher, Holly Cannon, Rihenna Devenney, Maura Sweeney.Donegal Town finished second, with a impressive season, for their first year at this age level. LAGAN Harps celebrateThe squad moving up from U12’s last year, gained experience when the win the WFAI U12 National Plate competition and two years running win the Ulster and FAI Schools 5 a side competition. Danielle McDevitt and Amy Boyle Carr excelled for their squads during the season, and both got selected for the U14 International squad trials after their displays in the Gaynor cup. Other players who impressed were young Bronagh Gallagher in goals, Shena Quinn in defence, Jodie Walker and Fiona Sholvin up front.Glenree Utd finished third. This has to be youngest of the squads competing in the league, however their team displays didn’t indicate any age difference. Keeper Clare Friel pulled of many an impressive save during the season, the defence was controlled by Siobhan Sweeney and the McDevitt sisters Niamh and Michelle, midfielders of Lauren Carr and Julie Trearty didnt give up, and Caoimhe Heron up front will give the best defenders heart ache in years to come.Kilmacrenna Celtic finished fouth. Kilmacrennan Celtic will feel hard done by this season, losing some games by the marginal 1 goal. Shannon Reid McDaid making vital tackles through their league season Meabh McDaid and Jill McGettigan ran the show in midfield and showed great fitness and ball control to keep their squad in games. Young Mia Alcorn in goals did excellent for Kilmacrennan throughout the season.Newcomers Dunfanaghy finished fifth. Dunfanaghy did well throughout the season, with some great displays by young Aoife Kelly, Ciara McGarvey, and Clara.
