first_imgThe Realme 3 has been launched in India, and it comes with a new and updated design language compared to last year’s Realme 2. The company announced the Realme 3 at an event in New Delhi, where it also revealed the pricing and availability details. The Realme 3 touts a new unibody design along with gradient colours, as well as a powerful hardware that is championed by the Helio P70 chipset at its core. The Realme 3 also highlights a dew drop display and Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0, among other things.The Realme 3 has been priced starting at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB/32GB and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The Realme 3 will be available on Flipkart for now and may launch in offline retail stores at a later date, although there is no word yet on its offline availability. The first sale on Flipkart will take place on March 12 at 12 noon. The company also announced three Iconic Cases for the Realme 3 that includes yellow, black and blue diamond cut colours.Realme 3 specificationsThe Realme 3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520×720) dewdrop display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.3 per cent. The device offers a glass-like plastic unibody design on the back with injection molded technology to offer comfortable grip and attractive reflective look. The rear panel that seamlessly cures around the frame and all the way to the glass on the front gets a gradient color finish in Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue. The former sees hues of blue and purple as well as a glitter effect on the bottom, while the latter gets hues of blue and green. Apart from the dual rear camera and Realme logo on the back, the Realme 3 also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.advertisementPowering the Realme 3 is a 2.1GHz octa-core Helio P70 chipset that is based on a 12nm process. The chipset offers four Cortex-A53 cores and four Cortex-A73 cores along with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The Realme 3 comes in two memory and storage options – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB – with support for storage expandability up to 256GB via a microSD card. The handset can hold two nano-SIM cards with dual VoLTE support and a dedicated slot for a microSD card. The Realme 3 ships with Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0. The latest software brings a borderless design, an app drawer as well as the new Android Pie gesture navigation feature.The Realme 3 sports a dual camera setup that includes a 13MP f/1.8 primary camera and 2MP secondary camera for depth sensing. The camera gets a new Nightscape mode that allows you to take a long exposure shot for better low-light photography. The camera also supports Hybrid HDR, Chroma Boost and Portrait modes. On the front, the Realme 3 gets a 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera with AI Beautification, HDR and support for face unlock. The Realme 3 houses a 4,230mAh battery with support for a 10W charger that is bundled with the box. The handset measures 75.6×156.1×8.3mm and weighs 175 grams. It supports 2.4G WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, among other things.
