He’s opted to flip his commitment.Stephen Herron Jr., a four-star defensive lineman, had been committed to Michigan, but he’s decided to de-commit from the Wolverines.The No. 5 defensive end in the 2019 class has flipped his commitment, too.Herron has committed to Stanford.The top defensive lineman announced his decision on Twitter.“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” #CardClass19 #FearTheTree pic.twitter.com/XqW0EBV3FK— Stephen Jr. (@stephenherron_) July 23, 2018This is a major loss for Michigan and a huge addition for Stanford. Herron was the second-highest rated recruit in the Wolverines’ class. He’s become the second-highest ranked commit in the Cardinal’s 2019 class.Herron chose Stanford over Alabama, Florida and Ohio State, among other programs.last_img
