first_imgTipperary senior hurling captain Brendan Maher has paid tribute to manager Eamon O’ Shea.The team were welcomed home to Semple Stadium by a large crowd yesterday afternoon, following Saturday’s All-Ireland Hurling Final replay defeat to Kilkenny.And Maher says that O’ Shea kept faith in the team, when it wavered elsewhere Meanwhile the future is looking bright for Tipperary hurling!That’s the view of the Premier County faithful- following Saturday’s All-Ireland Final replay loss at the hands of old rivals Kilkenny.Tipp held a two-point lead at half-time, but never recovered from Kilkenny’s super start to the second-half.But, despite defeat, Tipp fans told Tipp FM outside Croke Park that it’s been a great year for Eamon O’ Shea and his team.last_img
